We rented out our spare bedrooms but had some strict rules too. Picking your guests can make a difference, especially when they are in your house.

My tip, aim for longer stays and you will do much less cleaning! We had monthly guests 3 months in a row and it was so much easier!

We just started renting out 2 of our upstairs bedrooms in July. I wish I read through this before then.

So far, we’ve only rented out both rooms for a couple nights, but in total we made 1k after tax.

Honestly, the hardest part is convincing my husband to stay with it. He HATES having strangers in the house. Lol

I love that you post how much you make annually doing this! Very motivating :o)
