It’s easy to think of few people who made suuuch bad mistakes that they ended up in jail or completely ruined their credibility in very public ways (the book “So You’ve Been Publicly Shamed” goes over some big ones).

For me, it’s just little things that we remember despite no one else caring. I was in a chat with some other leaders at the company I was working at, and we were talking about mistakes people have made. One other person said, “I can’t think of anything Adam’s ever done wrong”. That was both a wakeup call to share my failures publicly much more, and validating that I must not have messed up as much as I thought. 🙂
